Scenario data#
settled_bed.json preserves the 414 two-dimensional particle positions
(pos) and corresponding radii (rad) from the former hard-coded RL bed
module. Load it with Python’s json module when building an example; the
library does not load it automatically. This is a saved scenario, not a general
packing generator or a benchmark reference.
rotating_drum.stl is a small example boundary mesh: a 16-sided cylinder
of radius 3 and depth 1.4, with two end caps and three radial lifters. Its
70 triangles describe a contact shell, including internal baffles, rather
than a filled solid. Coordinates use the same reduced length units as the
rotating-drum example.
Download the drum STL alongside the Python
example, keeping it in a data subdirectory, or select another mesh with
the JAXDEM_DRUM_STL environment variable described by that example.
soft_mode_packing.json is a prepared sixteen-disk configuration at shear
strain 0.046. The soft-mode example relaxes this input again, then computes
the spectrum and rearrangement during its run. The file records preparation
parameters; it contains no cached analysis results.
Download the prepared packing into the
same data subdirectory when running that example outside the repository.
